The US actress Kathryn Kates, known from series like “Seinfeld” or “Orange is the New Black”, is dead. Kates died of lung cancer at the age of 73, US media reported on Wednesday, citing her acting agency. The actress, born in New York in 1948, co-founded a theater in Los Angeles in the 1970s and then played roles in film, television and theater for decades.
