ORF RSO Vienna in February: Two premieres at guest performances in Dortmund and Salzburg – mica

Vienna (OTS)The ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Duncan Ward, will perform at the Konzerthaus Dortmund on February 5th and at the Grosses Festspielhaus in Salzburg on February 8th, 9th and 10th. Ö1 will broadcast the concert live on February 10th. On February 18, the ORF RSO Vienna will play under the baton of Markus Poschner in the Vienna Musikverein and on February 23 under the baton of Julian Rachlin in the Vienna Konzerthaus.

At the guest performance of ORF RSO Vienna on Sunday, February 5 (18.00) at Dortmund Concert Hall The program includes Sofia Gubaidulina’s Concerto for Viola and Orchestra, her orchestral work “Der Zorn Gottes” and the German premiere of Mieczysław Weinberg’s 16th Symphony. Duncan Ward conducts, the soloist is the violist Antoine Tamestit.
