From the start of the next school year, all compulsory school students will have three periods of physical education, a federal obligation.

The third period of physical education began to be partially introduced in the Orientation cycle in 2017 and will be fully introduced from the start of the next school year.

All students in Geneva’s compulsory school will have three periods of physical education from the start of the next school year. The Department of Public Education formalized on Monday the generalization of these three periods now also throughout the course of the Orientation Cycle.
