Orlando extends Gary Harris for $26 million over two years

We might think that Gary Harris was going to switch to a slightly more competitive team this summer, as his profile would definitely be perfect in a title contender, but he ultimately opted for a two-year re-signing in Orlando.

The soon-to-be 28-year-old fullback will receive no less than $26 million, split between the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, and he will above all be one of the veterans of Jamahl Mosley’s young squad. It remains to be seen whether he will still retain his starting position, despite competition from promising Cole Anthony, Markelle Fultz and Jalen Suggs on the back lines.

As a reminder, Gary Harris was averaging 11.1 points in 2021/22, 43% on shots and 38% at 3-pts.
