At the event, official uniforms for staff who will greet visitors at the Expo venue will be unveiled. The event was presented in the form of a fashion show using a runway, with Osaka/Kansai Expo special supporter Takataka Aoki acting as MC.
Ren Kiriyama, Karin Kojima (NMB48), Kodo Nishimura are venue service attendants, Rina Yokogawa and Hideaki Oku are association staff members, Kion Shiotsuki (NMB48), Kokoro Sakata (NMB48), Yusuke Terada are management staff, ROBIB J walked the runway wearing the uniforms of cleaning staff, while Umino and Yuji Matsumoto wore the uniforms of medical staff.

Kiriyama praised the uniform, saying, “The asymmetrical uniform is original, and the white color gives it a sense of cleanliness, but it also has a sense of presence and is comfortable to wear.” Kojima introduced the uniform for venue service attendants, who can choose from three types, saying, “I’m happy that it’s lightweight and comfortable to wear and stylish, and I think it’s great to have the freedom to choose something that suits me.”

In addition, Shiozuki, wearing the uniform of the management staff, said, “It’s very light and looks like it will be easy to do active movements.It seems to be breathable and quick-drying, so I think it’s the best comfort to wear even in summer.” Shiotsuki, who was wearing a jacket, emphasized its functionality by saying, “The jacket is very light and seems to have a heat-retaining effect, so I think it would be good even when it’s chilly.”

Of the staff uniforms, venue service attendant staff uniforms worn by guest attendants, interpreters, staff working at information desks, etc. will be designed for people with experience in clothing design from May 18th to June 19th, 2023. Recruitment. Mariko Hattori’s design was selected for the Excellence Award out of 513 entries (369 applicants).
