A man has died after falling from a great height on a construction site in Österåker.
The case is classified as a workplace accident.
On Thursday morning, a workplace accident occurred in Österåker.
It happened on a construction site and the police were called to the scene at 08:00.
The man was seriously injured after falling from a great height.
– The state of the damage is unclear, we don’t want to go into details yet. We have patrols still at the scene. The investigation must show exactly what happened. We will investigate this incident further, said Helena Boström Thomas, the police’s press spokesperson, initially.
Emergency services and an ambulance should also have been on the scene.
At 11.15 the police announced that the man had died.
Relatives have been notified.
