Sebastian Ofner, Dominic Thiem and Julia Grabher remain the only Austrian representatives in the main individual competitions of the US Open 2023 in New York. After Jurij Rodionov on Tuesday (first round), Maximilian Neuchrist on Wednesday (first round) and Dennis Novak on Thursday (second round), Filip Misolic and Sinja Kraus are now also eliminated from the qualification at the Grand Slam tournament in Flushing Meadows, both in the second round against competition from Belgium. Misolic (ATP 168) initially lost out on Friday evening after CEST against Kimmer Coppejans (ATP 148) 2: 6, 2: 6.
