NORMAN — OU linebacker Danny Stutsman, who missed last week’s Bedlam loss with an ankle injury, appears to be ready to return for the Sooners’ game once morest West Virginia on Saturday night.

Stutsman went through warmups with the linebackers and is expected to play in the game. He also went through warmups before Bedlam.

The Sooners’ leading tackler was replaced in the lineup at weakside linebacker last week by redshirt freshman Kip Lewis, who had 15 tackles in the loss.

While Stutsman appears to be ready to return, the Sooners will be without an offensive lineman.

Starting right tackle Tyler Guyton was in street clothes during warmups and will miss Saturday’s game.
