COMMUNIQUE

SITARAIL informs the public of the resumption of passenger transport on Friday November 17, 2023.
Since the passenger train cannot run, for the moment, in Ivory Coast, this resumption will take place on the Bobo Dioulasso-Ouagadougou route with service to the following stations: Bobo Dioulasso, Siby, Koudougou and Ouagadougou.
The frequency will be one train per week according to the following program:
• Departure from Bobo Dioulasso, bound for Ouagadougou, Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.
• Departure from Ouagadougou, bound for Bobo Dioulasso, on Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

The passenger service train consists of two 2nd class cars (192 seats), a generator and service van and collector wagons.

Exceptionally, the first train will leave from Ouagadougou station on November 17, 2023, at 9 a.m.
One-way fares are set as follows:
 Bobo Dioulasso- Ouagadougou: 7,500 FCFA
 Other intermediate destinations
between Ouagadougou and Bobo Dioulasso: 5,000 FCFA

Tickets will be available at the ticket offices of the Ouagadougou, Koudougou, Siby and Bobo Dioulasso railway stations.

NB: Only accompanied baggage will be admitted in the convoys.
