Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 undoubtedly remains one of the major releases of the end of 2023. With the new title from Insomniac Games, the PS5 gets another formidably effective exclusivity. Yes, this sequel takes the solid foundations of the first part and the spin-off Miles Morales, but it improves this formula on all points: more generous, more spectacular, more beautiful, better written, more demanding in the fights…
And if we once again find New York as our playground, the Big Apple has never been so alive. Thanks to the power of the PS5, the city is full of NPCs going about their business, the traffic is finally realistic with hundreds of cars on the screen… In short, New York is the star of this Spider-Man 2. And what about the movement mechanics? Already exhilarating in the first episode, they reach a higher level thanks to the delta-webs, a sort of wing-suit that allows you to fly between skyscrapers at lightning speed. As for the clashes, they have gained in intensity and difficulty thanks to more numerous and more varied enemies and new enjoyable combat techniques (parries, symbiote powers, new gadgets, etc.).

If you own a Nintendo Switch and have not yet discovered Link’s latest adventures, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom is a must-have for the Nintendo console. If we indeed find the open world of Breath of The Wild, this episode marks its difference by offering to explore the skies but also the underground of Hyrule. But above all, the title offers a extraordinary freedom of actionthanks to brilliant features like Emprise, a power that lets you stick the objects together.
You only need to watch a few videos on YouTube to see to what extent Nintendo’s system allows the craziest creations. Want to create a mecha to defeat this goblin camp? It’s possible. Want to build an impregnable Mad Max-style tank with spikes and flamethrowers? It’s doable. Add to that a pleasure of exploration without any measure, a soundtrack to die for and some truly original gameplay ideasand you have one of the best games released on Switch, period.

After a promising Jedi Fallen Order, the Respawn Entertainment teams have given a sequel to the adventures of Jedi Cal Kestis. Awarded a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 in our columns, this episode ticks all the boxes for an excellent sequel: more beautiful, bigger, more generous, simply better. In addition to resuming the strengths of the first opus, Jedi Survivor has the luxury of erasing the few flaws of its predecessor (fast travel, real cosmetic rewards, further customization).
For neophytes, we play the Jedi knight Cal Kestis, who after surviving Order 66, tries as best he can to fight against the Empire. In Jedi Survivor, you will be required to travel across the galaxy to find traces of a mythical planet, which could well serve as a home to all the oppressed. The title stands out as an excellent adventure game, which combines both exploration, clever puzzles, platforming and combat absolutely exhilarating thanks to the powers of the Force.
