Montabaur – The ceramics company Römertopf has filed for bankruptcy. Römertopf Keramik GmbH & Co. KG filed a corresponding application with the district court in Montabaur on Thursday, said managing director Frank Gentejohann on Friday. After very good developments from 2017 to 2021, the start of the war in Ukraine saw a sharp drop in sales, the company said.
