Outdoor screenings in the Boisé de la Marconi this fall

EVENT. The City of Drummondville is working on a new event. Entitled “Les Brunantes”, an outdoor screening trail will be deployed in the Boisé de la Marconi this fall.

It will be a free immersive journey composed of outdoor projections presented every weekend in September.

“We keep ourselves a little surprised. We don’t want to say too much. It will be an interesting and new cultural offer that we have never seen in Drummondville”, briefly commented the mayoress of Drummondville, Stéphanie Lacoste.

The city council awarded a contract worth approximately $82,000 to Musée Ambulant during the city council meeting on Tuesday evening. The Ministry of Culture and Communications will financially participate in half of the project.

The Mobile Museum, which will carry out the event, offers activities specially adapted to different audiences, including teenagers, seniors, early childhood, day camps and festivals. In addition to its mobile exhibitions, the non-profit organization works to develop technological innovations to make the discovery and creation of digital and virtual reality works more accessible.
