The user who reported the Apple Watch Series 7 battery explosion said in an interview with 9to5Mac, “Just before the battery exploded, when I put the Apple Watch Series 7 on, the product was much hotter than usual.” “And the Apple Watch cracked. and watchOS sent a warning notification that the device should be put into a power-down state.”
The user contacted Apple Support, informed them that the battery had exploded and asked for an explanation of the cause. However, it took a long time before the additional investigation staff was assigned, and there was no solution or guidance from Apple.
Afterwards, a user who reported a battery accident problem contacted Apple additionally, but Apple informed that “the battery explosion problem is being treated as the most urgent problem. We will provide the detailed cause of the accident by October 3.” However, there has been no contact from Apple so far.
