At about 1:31 pm on the 23rd, an accident occurred in an apartment in Daehyeon-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu, where a moving company ladder truck fell sideways and hit a parked car. The ladder truck and three cars were damaged in the accident.
The Daegu Northern Fire Department, which received the report and rushed to the scene, dispatched 4 fire engines and 20 firefighters to complete safety measures around 2:05 pm, fixed the ladder vehicle across the apartment, and took over the handling of the accident.
An official from the Daegu Northern Fire Station explained, “It seems that the vehicle’s fixing device did not catch the balance device while the moving vehicle was raising the ladder, and this may have led to an accident.”
