The Pakistan captain crossed his half century in 58 balls. Then Fakhar also crossed the century in 105 balls. The score was 178 when Tom Cooper caught Babar off Logan van Beek. Khushdil Shah (21 off 18 balls with a six and a four), Shabad Khan (48 not out with two sixes and four fours off 28 balls) and Agha Salman (27 not out off 16 balls) took the Pakistan score past 300. Despite taking two wickets, Van Beek conceded 89 runs in 10 overs.
