Pakistan’s aid to Ukraine during Russia-Ukraine war. ANI reports that Pakistan has provided assistance amid Ukraine’s growing demand for arms.
Pictures circulating on Twitter suggest that Ukrainian forces are using 122mm HE artillery projectiles manufactured by Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF). The pictures are circulating through the Ukraine Weapon Tracker’s Twitter page. It is reported that these were built a few months ago.
The new report of arms supply to Ukraine comes in the context of Pakistan trying to establish friendship with Russia. Earlier this year, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Moscow drew criticism both inside and outside the country. Imran’s entry into Moscow came at a time when President Vladimir Putin ordered ‘special military action’ in Ukraine in hopes of strengthening bilateral ties with Russia.

International experts feel that the new report on the presence of Pakistan-made weapons in Ukraine will not bode well for Russia and will force Russia to renegotiate its relationship with Islamabad.
