The Pakistan team arrived in India for the World Cup last day. Babar and his team reached Indian soil a week ago to play warm-up matches before the World Cup. Before this, the Pakistan national team came to India in 2016.
Both Pakistan’s warm-up matches are scheduled in Hyderabad. Pakistan will play warm-up matches against New Zealand and Australia.

Under-19 player Nishant Saranu from Hyderabad was the center of attraction of the net session. The 6-foot-9-inch Nishant has surprised the Pakistan team and coach Moni Morkel with his pace bowling.
Morkel bowls Nishant after Pakistan speedsters Harris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi have finished their spells. The player bowled for Pakistan’s tail-enders and opener Fakhar Zaman. Pakistan team was very impressed by his accurate bounces.
‘Now I am bowling at a speed of 125-130 kmph. Moni Morkel sir has asked me to increase my pace. He also asked me if it would be possible for him to bowl in the nets for Lucknow Super Giants,’ said Nishant.
“I want to build my career in red ball cricket and white ball format. So my main aim is to represent Hyderabad at the first class level,’ added Nishant.
He considers Aussie pacers Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins as his heroes.
Morkel has asked the net bowlers including Nishant to increase the pace.
This is not the first time that Nishant has bowled for international players. The Hyderabadi also bowled for the Kiwis ahead of the New Zealand-India series earlier this year.
After the warm-up match, both the matches will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Pakistan. Because of this, it is expected that Nishant will still bowl for Pakistan in the nets.
These matches are against Netherlands on October 3 and Sri Lanka on October 10.
