Pakistan’s Supreme Court orders snap elections – Pakistan

Islamabad – Pakistan’s Supreme Court has ordered snap elections in the politically crucial province of Punjab no later than mid-May. The court announced on Tuesday. The reason for this is the dissolution of the provincial parliament by the party of Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was ousted in April last year.
