Paks, which wants to join the Conference League, has found a replacement for Péter Szappanos

Ádám Kovácsik continues his career in the Paks football team.

Péter Szappanos moved from Paksi FC to Saudi Arabia, so the team was looking for another player to replace him. The team from Tolna is known to only work with Hungarian football players, but they are still one win away from reaching the group stage of the Conference League, so it doesn’t matter what quality and experience they find – although the 20-year-old Simon Barnabas there was no complaint either.

Kovácsik’s career started in Budapest Honvéd, then he joined Ferencváros in his junior years, but later played in Italy for eight years. He returned to Hungary in 2015, strengthening Fehérvár for eight years before moving to Mezőkövesd, which, however, did not have a live contract, so he was transferred to Paks for free.
