JERUSALEM: A Palestinian boy has been shot dead by Israeli forces in a raid on the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said Amjad al-Fayyad, 17, was killed.
The 18-year-old, who was injured in the shooting, is in critical condition. Local media reported that Israel was attacking a Palestinian refugee camp in the city of Jenin. Fayyad was shot several times. Israel has been conducting regular raids on the city of Jenin since the March killing of Israeli civilians.
The death toll from the Israeli attack here has risen to 20.
