BENGALURU: The parents of the boy, who had been unconscious for 6 years, died due to overdose of anesthesia before surgery. The parents filed a police complaint demanding action once morest the doctors. Vignesh (16), who was admitted to a private hospital in Subrahmanya Nagar on April 4, 2017 for hernia treatment, died.
Anesthesia was given 3 times before surgery. When questioned regarding this, the hospital authorities washed their hands by paying Rs 5 lakh for the child’s treatment. So far, the treatment has cost Rs 19 lakh.
