Kozhikode: Music director Chandran Vayyattummal alias Paris Chandran has passed away. He was 66 years old. He died at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital in the evening due to heart disease.

Paris Chandran won the 2008 state award for composing background music for the film Bioscope. He was the winner of the 2010 Kerala State Television Award. The award was given for the music composition of the telefilm ‘Pranayathil Oruval’.
