Thanks to surrogacy, hotel heiress Paris Hilton is now the mother of two. In the first month, however, she didn’t dare change her son’s diaper.
On her TV show “Paris in Love” she tells her sister that she is afraid of changing diapers.
Both her sister and her fans are shocked.
Paris Hilton (42) had other people change her baby’s diaper for a month. She had long harbored the desire to become a mother. But it was only last year that things finally worked out thanks to surrogacy. Since then, she has regularly shown her son Phoenix on her social media channels and raves about her happiness. But now she admits in her show “Paris in Love”: For a long time she was afraid to change Phoenix’s diapers herself.
On the show, Paris Hilton braces herself to do it for the first time. Her sister (Nicky, 40) is standing next to her: arm on hip, mouth and eyes wide open. “You’ve never done this before?” she asks Paris. Then Nicky shows Paris how she has to loosen the diaper and says: “Oh, he had to be big.”
Paris is now holding the diaper in her hand and asks the housekeeper what goes in the back and what goes in the front. Then things get serious. Paris says to her sister: “I’m scared.” With a little help it works in the end.
Paris Hilton was a tomboy as a child
After the diaper change, Nurse Nicky talks about Paris’ journey to motherhood. As a child, Paris was more of a tomboy, so she behaved more like a boy: she spent a lot of time in the garden, building castles and playing with her rats. She wasn’t concerned about having children one day. “As a mother, it’s part of getting your hands dirty every now and then,” says Nicky Hilton.
Fans are horrified on social media. “That makes me sad,” “Rich people no longer have any connection to reality,” or “It hurts so much to see it,” they write in the comment columns. Many celebrate the nanny who stands next to her in the scene. “She’s probably thinking, ‘It’s better to give the baby to me and do something else,'” someone commented.
Others are happy about her honesty. “At least she shows her nanny, the Kardashians always hide her on their show.” Another can sympathize with Paris: “I felt the same way, I was so insecure. But you learn and she will be a wonderful mom too.” Some fans defend the hotel heiress. The It girl doesn’t know any better, after all, she was also raised by nannies. Now Paris has enough opportunities to practice. She recently had a second child through surrogacy.
