The French ambassador to Burkina Faso was recalled to Paris for consultations, three days after a request for the withdrawal of French troops from Burkinabe soil. On the question of a possible replacement for Luc Hallade, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not comment on January 26, 2023.
