Shkriniar’s contract with Inter expired at the end of the season in the summer of 2023, and the club failed to persuade him to extend the contract.
Shkriniar signed a contract linking him to Saint-Germain until the summer of 2028.
According to Italian reports, Inter officials refused to break the team’s salary cap, as the highest amounted to 7 million euros.
The announcement of Shkriniar’s inclusion comes one day after Spaniard Luis Enrique was appointed coach of the team, succeeding Christophe Galtier.
Shkriniar has played with Inter since 2017, when he joined the team from Sampdoria, and represented the Blues and Lions in 246 matches in various competitions.

The Slovakian defender received interest from senior clubs, headed by Real Madrid, who expressed his admiration for the player in the last period, in addition to Paris, but Inter refused to give up the player until he moved to the Parisian team for free.
