Bedbugs infest Paris, France vows to fight bug infestation

(AFP, Paris, 30th) The French government recently stated that it will fully combat the increasing number of bedbugs in public transportation, theaters, and hospitals.

The blood-sucking insects have been spotted on the Paris Metro, high-speed trains, Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and other places, and disgusted travelers have posted videos on social media.

French Transport Minister Clement Beaune said on the social platform .

Bed bugs, also known as bed bugs, get their name from their habit of hiding in mattresses, although they can also hide in clothing and luggage. They are usually active at night and feed on human blood.

Bed bug bites can cause redness, blisters, or large rashes on the skin and may cause severe itching or allergic reactions. They also often cause psychological distress, sleep problems, anxiety and depression.

Bed bugs can grow to regarding 7 millimeters long, and according to French authorities, their presence has nothing to do with hygiene.
