Broadcaster Park Soo-hong is arguing with his brother over the past 30 years while he was active, claiming that his brother stole his money and property.
Prosecutors put the accused together in the courtroom today on charges of embezzling a total of 6.1 billion won for 10 years, including the brother-in-law as well as the brother-in-law.

Broadcaster Park Soo-hong, who had a legal battle with his older brother, struggled to stand in front of the camera.

“No one can live alone. I really believed it. When I opened the lid… I just thought I was going to die.”
In April of last year, Park Soo-hong announced that he would take legal action against his older brother.
It is said that he set up an agency that only manages his younger brother, and has been stealing it for 30 years without sharing the performance fee and company money as promised.
As a result of the investigation for over a year, the story of Park Soo-hong, who said that he had been betrayed by his trusted older brother, turned out to be largely true.
I used 2.9 billion won from my brother’s account, and 1.17 billion won in company money to buy real estate, such as shopping malls.
As if paying labor costs to a ‘ghost employee’, they stole 1.9 billion won and used corporate credit cards.
The prosecution only counted crimes in the last 10 years, and the amount of embezzlement was 6.17 billion won.

“It’s a bit disappointing that the data related to the bank transaction slips and cash withdrawals were not all revealed due to the expiration of the data storage period.”
My father tried to cover up his brother by saying, “I spent money” while kicking and assaulting Park Soo-hong, whom I met at the Daejil Shimbun, but the prosecution dismissed it, saying, “Your brother’s crime is correct.”
Rather, it was believed that even the brother-in-law had committed the crime, so he put the brothers and sisters side by side in court.
At first, there were suspicions that the older brother and wife would receive the 1.4 billion won insurance money paid by Park Soo-hong, but as a result of the investigation, Park Soo-hong was normally designed to be the recipient of the insurance money.
Apart from the criminal complaint, Park Soo-hong is also pursuing a civil lawsuit demanding compensation of 11.6 billion won from his older brother.
