Thursday, April 20, 2023 is organized a day dedicated to Parkinson’s disease at the Rouen University Hospital open to all.
Every year, the Seine-Maritime France Parkinson committee sets up actions to raise awareness among the general public about this disease, which affects nearly 170,000 people in France.
This neurodegenerative disease destroys over the years a specific population of neurons related to movement control.
On April 20 at the Rouen University Hospital, the committee will be present to allow everyone, through conferences with specialists in the matter, to understand the disease, to detect the first signs and to know the systems put in place for caregivers.
