Parliamentary demands to form a committee to find out what is happening in mental health hospitals

Representative Rawya Mokhtar, a member of the Parliamentary Committee of the Reform and Development Party, presented the Representatives The government issued an urgent statement regarding the truth of what is happening in mental health hospitals after the death of Ayman Hadhoud, calling for the formation of a fact-finding committee to investigate the truth.

During the plenary session of the House of Representatives, headed by Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, Representative Mustafa Bakri, he delivered an urgent statement regarding the death of Ayman Hadhoud, saying: There are attempts by some to transfer the incident to a new “Khaled Saeed.”

He continued: We know that the case is related to a psychiatric hospital and that his family confirmed that he was suffering from a psychological crisis.

Bakri indicated that there is inconsistency in the data and not keeping pace with the speed of events, supporting the request of Representative Rawya Mokhtar to form fact-finding committees regarding the incident.

The public session in the House of Representatives also witnessed, Representative Ahmed Khalil Khairallah, Head of the Parliamentary Committee of the Anwar Party, an urgent statement regarding the Ministry of Endowments’ decision to ban Tahajjud prayers in mosques, calling for a reconsideration of the decision.

He said: Unfortunately, the government is in one valley and the endowments are in another valley, noting that the ministry has prohibited the Tahajjud and I’tikaf prayers inside mosques, despite the regular Tarawih prayers, as gatherings returned in matches and others.

He continued: We are with the return of the natural state of the state, and I call for stopping the minister’s decision to prevent the Tahajjud prayer and to study the opening of mosques for worshipers in Ramadan, while taking precautionary measures.
