Indeed, around 11:15 p.m., the local police of Liège and the firefighters went to Rocourt, on the site of the Cora gallery. Part of the roof of the west wing of the shopping gallery, on the rue des Français side, had collapsed under the weight of a large quantity of water accumulated on the roof.

“The gallery is flooded and the damage is very important”, we explain to the Liège police. “The SSSP, the office of the Mayor and the security staff of Cora will meet on Monday morning to assess the situation and the stability of the structure of this part of the building. Pending the conclusions of this meeting, the entire gallery and the supermarket will remain closed”.
