New Delhi: The Delhi Police has registered a case against a young man who made noise and abused a female cabin crew member on an Air India flight from New York to Delhi.
A case was registered at the Delhi IGI Airport Police Station on the complaint of the cabin crew. The case is against Abhinav Sharma, a native of Jalandhar, Punjab, who traveled in the economy class of Air India’s AI 102 flight.
The incident happened on the 1st of this month. During the flight, Abhinav Sharma misbehaved with the passengers and cabin crew members nearby. After that, he got up from his seat and misbehaved with other passengers of the plane.
With this, the cabin crew supervisor first gave a verbal and then a written warning. Even after this, a police complaint was filed against him when he made racial remarks and spoke against India. Police officials informed that investigation has been started.
