In the wake of yesterday’s court decision, an experienced public prosecutor commented-prophesied that “the authorities must finally realize that this particular area is one of the biggest breeding grounds for the next generation of terrorists in our country”!
Since the current municipal authority took office, the door of the annex built by the previous mayor Yiannis Dimaras was demolished and the building was “invaded” by anarchists and anti-authoritarians, who have turned the area into a base for their “revolutionary” actions with the tolerance of the Municipality .

Where was it heard that all of us fellow citizens pay for the electricity and water of the poor and no one cares regarding this degenerate phenomenon?”.
From the time when the Annex became the property of the Municipality, it was intended as a venue for secondary education events. In fact, during the Karamanli government, an amount of approximately one million euros was spent on the renovation of the space, so that it would be suitable for the development of educational activities and the holding of cultural events.
Taxpayer money gone wrong. The above purpose was never served and as a result of the time with the tolerance of the current municipal authority the annex – according to the public prosecutor – has turned into “a breeding ground for a new generation of terrorists”!
In light of the above data, yesterday “P” brought the relevant concerns to the attention of the Achaean Deputy Minister of Culture Jason Fotila. He was very careful in his positioning, but the positive thing is that he is not going to be idle: “I am aware of the issue, but I will soon make sure to have full information, because it has many aspects. What is certain is that the historical space of the Annex does not serve good social purposes and this unacceptable situation cannot be perpetuated.
Concluding, the Deputy Minister meaningfully underlined, which shows that he seems determined to take substantial initiatives to stop the annex being a “social nuisance”:
“Let its arbitrary occupants ask for a column from the “Editors’ Journal” to write their opinions, but not on the walls of the annex…”.
