The MP for Achaia of the New Left will bring to the Parliament, Anagnostopoulou Cothe revelation of “P” for the transport conditions of his exhibits Folk Art Museum Patras, from the “Hansen” rooms of the Old Municipal Hospital, which are denounced as tragic.
Mrs. Anagnostopoulou, speaking to “P”, clarified that in her pending parliamentary question to the Minister of Culture, she will ask Lina Mendoni to find out if the Minister knew about the transfer and the conditions in which it took place and will ask her what actions she will take to protect and record them the exhibits. And of course, the main question will be, if the YPPO can guarantee the safeguarding of these rare historical and folklore exhibits, most of which have now been transferred for safekeeping, to the “Glory” room of “Veso Mare”.

At the same time, acquaintances active Patreon citizens are preparing their reaction against the Municipality of Patreon through the court system and for this purpose they are launching the formation of an Association, which will facilitate the lawsuit report and the complaint they are preparing to file with the Prosecutor’s Office of Patras.
Alongside all of this, the paternal families of the exhibitors have decided to ask the Cultural Organization to return their records, since they believe that they are being discredited and endangered by the treatment of the Municipality of Patreon.
The “key”, as “P” reveals today, to claiming the return, is the document brought to light by our newspaper. This is one of many thank you letters which had been sent by the Board of Directors of the Cultural Center of Patras, to which the Museum of Folk Art belonged.
In this particular document, which is addressed to the candlemaker Athanasios Avramisowner of the listed waxworks of the same name on Gerokostopoulou Street (below Gergiou Square), the Cultural Center thanks him for the archives he offered, but for which the Cultural Center notes that this is a “loan” and not a “donation”.
This paves the way for claiming the return of the files, the fate of which is judged by the families of the testators to be in jeopardy. And this is because of the move-parody that the Municipality carried out a few days ago from the old Municipal Hospital, with transporters who declared themselves “volunteers of the Municipality of Patreon”. A transfer, which as “P” had revealed, was not accompanied by protocols for the delivery, receipt and recording of the exhibits.
