The Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Beshara Boutros Al-Rahi, left this afternoon to London on a pastoral visit that was scheduled since 2019, but the Corona pandemic prevented it from being completed. He is accompanied on his visit, which will last until next Saturday, the Patriarchal Vicar General, Bishop Boulos Sayyah, and the protocol director in the Patriarchal edifice, the lawyer. During his visit, the shepherd will meet the Maronite community and parishioners, and he will have official meetings with the British Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister and a number of British deputies, and he will have a speech in the British Parliament. During his visit, he will meet the heads of the Catholic Churches in London.

And at 1:30 pm tomorrow London time, 3:30 Beirut time, he will preside over the feast of the feast of sacrifice, after which the members of the community will meet in the church hall. On Monday evening, he will meet successively with representatives of Lebanese parties in London and heads of associations.

The shepherd arrives in London at 4:45 Beirut time, and he will be received by the Lebanese ambassador to the United Kingdom, Rami Mortada, his advisor Marwan Francis, the servant of the Monastery of Our Lady of Lebanon in London, Father Fadi Kmid, and a number of members of the Maronite Church.
