The original Destiny game featured some serious star power. Between Peter Dinklage as the voice of OG Ghost, Bill Nighy as Speaker, Lauren Cohan as Exo Stranger, and Lance Reddick, Nathan Fillion, and Gina Torres as Commander Zavala, Cayde-6, and Ikora Rey, respectively, the game also included music by The Beatles’ Paul McCartney.
As for the last point, it looks like McCartney’s music will be making a return to Bungie’s sci-fi game series, as a recent Instagram post from orchestrator Ella Feingold (thanks, VGC) gave us a look at some music that will apparently be featured in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, and he « ce P. McCartney » mentioned as a songwriter.
There’s no word on what exactly this music will be used for and if it will actually be in The Final Shape, but since there’s a Destiny Showcase scheduled for August 22, maybe we’ll know more soon. .
