With the return of the Viña Festival, the retro channel of Canal 13, REC, will premiere a new season of we have festivala program that this time will be hosted by Paulina Nin de Cardona.
The premiere of this new edition will be on Sunday, January 8 at 10:00 p.m. and will focus on reliving what Viña 2006 was, a contest that had Sergio Lagos and Myriam Hernández as entertainers.
From that edition, some presentations that remained in the memory of the spectators were Juan Luis Guerra, Ruperto, Franz Ferdinand, Coco Legrand and, of course, the iconic Daddy Yankee show.
Regarding her participation in this program, Paulina, who acted as a cheerleader at the festival decades ago, expressed that “it has been a pleasure, because several of the artists who participated in this Festival, I had the honor of presenting them when I was the cheerleader of the contest. (1983, 1985, 1991 and 1992); so this experience has been a bit like reliving the festivals in which I participated”.

She, who during 2022 was a presenter in Did you see him in 13? (REC TV), commented: “It’s like what we always say in REC, to remember is to live again.”
About his favorite animators in the history of the Viñamarino contest, he assured “my favorite has always been Antonio Vodanovic, but I have also liked Martín Cárcamo and Sergio Lagos”. Meanwhile, “of the women, Carolina de Moras and the one I liked the most is Soledad Onetto,” she said.
“The Viña Festival meant a lot to me, because, without realizing it, my participation in it marked a before and after in female animation,” she said. “It is a great challenge that I took on too young, at 22 years old, and I tried to do it in the best way to leave the name and role of women in Viña del Mar well established.”
