At the age of 8, she attended the School of American Ballet, before performing with the New York City Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre. Later, she trained in acting at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan. After that, she attended Bard College to major in theater and political studies.
