Paulo Dybala, the Argentinian player, has revealed about the love of the Argentine players of the coach of the Italian club AS Roma, Jose Mourinho.
Dybala said he was surprised that Mourinho phoned him several times to congratulate him after Argentina’s 2022 World Cup triumph.
I was in the room when the final against France ended in the World Cup. After that I reached the locker room. I picked up my phone to talk to my family and saw five missed calls from Mourinho. That’s when I called him back,’ said Dybala in an interview with TYC sports journalist Edule.
Dybala also spoke about Mourinho’s love for the Argentine players.
“He talks to me about Angel Di Maria and Messi. They are loved very much. “Argentine players have contributed a lot to his team and that’s why he has a lot of love for all Argentinians,” Dybala added.
Currently, Mourinho and his team are in seventh place in Serie A with 17 points from 11 matches, including five wins, two draws and four losses.
Roma’s next match is against Slavia Praha in the Europa League on October 9.
