The official was sharing with his relatives in Marhuanta, when he was intercepted by armed individuals.
This Friday night, an official attached to the Bolívar State Police (PEB) died, following being shot while sharing with his relatives in Ciudad Bolívar.
The incident occurred in the Las Casitas de Marhuanta sector, in the Angostura del Orinoco municipality.
It transpired that several armed individuals appeared there, who shot the officer. In this way, an alleged confrontation occurred in which the badly injured uniformed man fell.
The victim was identified as 36-year-old Abraham Peraza, who was an active officer of the Agua Salada Police Coordination Center (CCP).
He was transferred to the emergency area of the Ruiz y Páez hospital, where he died minutes following admission.
It was unofficially known that presumed members of the “el Brayli” gang would be responsible for the crime.
