Pegasus: The best companies in the country

Growth on all levels – this is what the intralogistics company TGW in Machtrenk has achieved in recent years in terms of sales, investments and employees. The internationally active group with 4,400 employees competes with other Upper Austrian companies for the Pegasus Prize in the “Lighthouses” category.

The company does not see itself as a “purely economic community of convenience, but rather as a meaning-oriented community of values that enables human and professional growth and entrepreneurial success.” At the logistics trade fair in Stuttgart, the Marchtrenkers presented three innovations that they believe could change the industry. One of these is an AI-based robot that flexibly switches between manual and automatic picking.

The family business Fleischhauerei Ozlberger GmbH, run by Renate Ozlberger in Hartkirchen, sees itself as a regional Pegasus “success story”. She and her son are the sixth generation to run the business. Through numerous modernizations and greening, she has made the butcher shop a flourishing business again.
