The society of Skydra in Pella is upset by the complaints of bullying by a gang of underage students.
The episodes are many and the situation seems out of control. The tangle of the case began to unravel when one of the gang members put out a cigarette on the cheek of a 14-year-old student. A barrage of complaints then followed, with one of the targeted children telling his parents he feared he might not have the same fate as little Alex.
New incident with a 15-year-old girl
The new complaint that has come to light concerns a 15-year-old girl who was bullied. The mother told MEGA that since the beginning of the year she has been creating problems with the teachers’ tolerance.
“My little girl was on a school trip, the leader of them went and as they were sitting down he said to them: “get out of here, I want to smoke”. The little girl said “it has so much space” and he told her “you heard what I told you, you will do what I tell you”. Mine said “no, it won’t be what you want”. He started cursing her with very bad words, telling her that he was going to kill her. He was scared, went to the office, informed the high school teacher, they called him but I don’t know what they told him,” the mother told MEGA.
“Afraid of ending up like Alex”
The lawyer Antonis Xylourgidis, who has taken over the incidents examined by the authorities, is shocked by his reports: “There are four complaints. The fourth case is afraid of ending up like Alex, so the child and his parents told me, they are afraid of reprisals.”
As he says, there is no official reaction either from the competent directorate of secondary education, or from the school. “They have been reprimanded because this process took dimensions in the media.”
Mr. Xylourgidis complained that: “Relatives of the perpetrators send me messages and address me with derogatory features”, while he has been told that “what are you going to do against them and they tell me that these are local actors”.
