U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who visited Taiwan, said on the 9th local time that Chinese President Xi Jinping was “acting like a frightened rogue.”
Chairman Pelosi appeared on NBC and MSNBC on the same day and said, “President Xi is in a vulnerable position. There is a problem with the economy.”
China has been raising tensions in the Taiwan Strait by conducting military exercises around Taiwan day following day following Chairman Pelosi visited Taiwan on the 2nd and 3rd.
He praised his visit to Taiwan as “it was worth it” and dismissed China’s actions as “they always do”.
Pelosi said his visit to Taiwan received overwhelming and bipartisan support in the US Congress and said he would not “allow China to isolate Taiwan.”
