People are dying of hunger in Gaza, donkeys are forced to eat horses: British organization Oxfam – World

The British charity Oxfam has warned that people are dying of hunger in northern Gaza, pointing out a dangerous situation. Oxfam representative Bushra Khalidi stated that the Israeli army has stopped the supply of food in northern Gaza for 10 days, due to which there has been a severe food shortage.

Bushra Khalidi said that due to this dire situation, the people of northern Gaza are in a desperate situation and they are forced to eat fodder, donkeys and horses to avoid hunger. He further explained that most Palestinians are preferring to die in their homes, rather than go on a “death march” to southern Gaza.

He expressed his concern over the dangerous situation, saying that he does not know how people will survive in northern Gaza, because they will either starve to death or be massacred. Bushra Khalidi said that this level of destruction in Gaza has never been seen before.

It is also worth mentioning that the Israeli forces have continued air and ground operations in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in more than 43 thousand Palestinian martyrs and more than 100,000 wounded. Meanwhile, Israeli forces have also killed representatives of American and British charities and the United Nations.
