KowiCanto, a mixed choir with 35 members, organized a benefit concert in Guggenthal in December for the Sonneninsel Seekirchen, the psychosocial followingcare center for children, young people and their families (formerly) affected by cancer or another chronic illness. Managing director Thomas Janik was pleased to receive a donation of 1,000 euros.
Every year, shortly before Christmas, SV Austria Salzburg is committed to helping children with cancer. On two days, members of the association collected donations for the Salzburg Children’s Cancer Aid at the Advent stand. The sale of mulled wine, punch, bread, cakes and cookies raised around 3,000 euros.
