Anniversary celebration
Platinum, diamond, gold, ruby and silver – numerous anniversaries were recently celebrated in Maria Plain at the thanksgiving service. Archbishop Franz Lackner and Auxiliary Bishop Hansjörg Hofer invited the jubilarians and their families to thank them for their 70, 60, 50, 40 and 25 years in the priesthood. Around half of the 28 jubilarians were able to attend the service in the Maria Plain Basilica in person.
Re-election
The election of the local fire brigade commander took place in Berndorf. Under the leadership of Mayor Johann Stemeseder, Thomas Kirchtag was unanimously confirmed as local fire brigade commander by the active comrades present for a further term of five years. Honor
At the harvest festival in Bad Vigaun, Fritz Holztrattner received the ring of honor. Holztrattner was a member of the municipal council from 2009, was elected mayor in 2013 and was confirmed in office in the 2014 and 2019 elections. At the ceremony, his successor Alexander Sartori recognized Holztrattner’s commitment.
