A bear wandering in Liptószentmiklós also attacked a ten-year-old girl at noon on Sunday, reports the New word.
According to the city, five people – a ten-year-old girl, a 32-year-old man and a 72-year-old man, a 49-year-old woman and a 58-year-old woman – were injured, suffered scratches or bear bites. They were all allowed to go home.

The authorities are now planning to shoot the bear.
The bear will probably be the same bear that killed a woman on Saturday in Deménvölgy, 15 kilometers from Liptószentmiklós. The woman fell from a height of 150 meters into a riverbed and, according to initial investigations, died of head injuries. The exact cause of death can be determined after the autopsy. The bear was then managed to be scared away by a member of the search team shooting into the air.
