The People’s Livelihood Countermeasures Committee filed a counter-accusation against the Incheon Metropolitan City Election Commission, which accused a YouTuber who obstructed the transfer of ballot boxes on the day of the presidential election on charges of abuse of power.

In the complaint, the People’s Livelihood Countermeasures Committee said, “The explanation and response of the National Election Commission at the time was insufficient, providing an excuse for YouTubers to block the transfer of ballot boxes and causing anger. It was an abuse of power.”

Earlier, the Incheon National Election Commission filed a complaint with the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency against far-right YouTubers and others for allegedly disturbing the polling officers who were trying to move the ballot box to the voting booth around 8 pm the day before the presidential election.

The Incheon National Election Commission said, “At that time, vehicles carrying ballot boxes were crowded at the entrance of the voting booth, and even though there was no basis for claiming that the election was fraudulent, they only moved the ballot boxes in the presence of observers from each party. ” he explained.

At the time, conservative YouTubers argued that “the suspicious person is moving the same numbered ballot box as the one that has already entered the voting booth”, but the people designated as suspicious were the polling officers and observers of each party, and they said that the same numbered ballot boxes had already been entered. The claim was also not true.

In the ballot box claimed by a far-right YouTuber as evidence of election fraud, Yoon Seok-yeol’s votes were 1,041, ahead of Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung by 82 votes.
