Peso is trading at 18.52 units per dollar, the highest appreciation in 4 years

The Mexican peso opened this Thursday session at 18.52 units per dollara appreciation of 0.38 percent not seen since October 1, 2018.

Bloomberg points out that in night operations the peso fluctuated between 18.52 and 18.60 units per dollar, ranking seventh among emerging currencies.

This adds two days of appreciation, driven by the increase in interest rates from the Federal Reserve (Fed) from the United States, which was announced at 0.25 points.

In bank windows the dollar is sold on average at 18.68 units per dollar.

On average, it is bought for 18.32 pesos and sold for 19.04 pesos.

In it Mexico City International Airport (AICM) the dollar is sold on average at 19.10 pesos and is bought at 17.60 pesos.
