Athletics » Peter Bol, fourth in the 800m at the Tokyo Olympics, was cleared of all suspicion of doping due to an erroneous test result. This was announced by the Australian Anti-Doping Agency on Tuesday. “No one should go through what I went through this year,” said the 29-year-old sportsman. Traces of EPO, a blood dopant, had been found in Bol, leading to his suspension in January this year. The B sample, however, did not confirm the result. Bol now wants to focus on the world championships. TTY
