Absorbed in his thoughts, Peter Eötvös pauses for a moment to give an interview and talk regarding his work as a composer. Born in 1944, he has written in all possible and imaginable genres, film music (to earn a living), electronic music, operas and instrumental music. Created last November in Berlin, his opera Sleepless summons the world of Jon Fosse. A story of individuals rejected everywhere, on the margins of society.
